Andrew Served as CIR from November of 2016 to November of 2018. He studied at Goucher College and has developed a love for Japanese language.
Chris Howell (2014-2016)
Chris Howell served as CIR from October 2014 to October of 2016. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with majors in math and physics, and a minor in Japanese.
Ben Haydock (2013-2014)
Ben Haydock served as the Nanae CIR from September 2013 to August 2014. He graduated from Colby College Ben Haydock is Nanae‘s current CIR, effective September, 2013 in 2011 with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Japanese. Ben previously served for from August 2011 – August 2013 as Nanae’s ALT (Assistant Language Teacher).
Nick Ferbert (2012-2013)
Nick Ferbert served as the Nanae CIR effective October, 2012. He graduated from Boston University in 2012 with a joint major in philosophy and psychology.
Ben Mirin (2010-2012)
Ben Mirin was Nanae’s Coordinator of International Relations from 2010 to 2012. Hired on September 7th, 2010, he began his first year term in Nanae on December 1st, 2010. Bobby Kargula (2008-2010)
Effective October 24, 2008, Bobby Kargula was appointed the new Coordinator of International Relations in Nanae, Japan. He graduated from Fordham University with a degree in communications. Bobby’s mother was born in Tokyo, and he began visiting Japan when he was seven years old. While attending Concord-Carlisle High School, he began promoting relations between Concord and Nanae. Bobby has worked as a Communications Specialist for Global Insight, and has a strong interest in athletics. He is currently working in Real Estate in Hawaii.

Burton Bates (2004-2006)
Burton now lives in Connecticut with his wife Marie, his son Charlie, his two dogs mason and river and his cat Gidget. He spent 4 years in Perth Australia where he got an MBA and a masters in human resource management and taught accounting. He is currently a stay at home dad who does small business consulting with a focus on art and marketing. He misses Nanae and all his friends.
